Meeting New People
February 24, 2026

I met Naomi at the pool, where we both were staying at the Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee.
Naomi is from Commack, Long Island, and purchased signed copies of my first two books in the Bailie Beach Trilogy. We had the opportunity to spend some time in conversation while Naomi, my wife Becky, and I played bingo at poolside. This is one of the benefits of being an author: meeting new people who take an interest in the stories you create. During our winter stay in Florida, I met several people that obtained signed copies of my book. To mention a few, Shirley from Toronto, Cindy from Michigan, Lori from New Orleans, Nancy from Florida, and Ellen from Boston all were a pleasure to meet. Most have become friends on Facebook, and I look forward to hearing their reviews on my books. Speaking of reviews, please put your reviews on Barnes & Noble and Amazon or on whichever site you purchase my books.
I received my quarterly sales report in February for the months of October through December 2025, with disappointment. I expected that sales for the first book, Bailie Beach, would be up for the month of December, with all the social media advertising we did. It was not! I’m not sure if the next three months of social media advertising are going to produce any better results. Really won’t know until the first of May. Discouraged but not giving up! I have a mystery series I’m writing now along with an autobiography titled “Journey to My Last Penny.” The latter book is written with humor, a journey in my faith and life’s journey. The goal is to have it be an inspirational read to stimulate the readers’ thoughts and reflection on their lives.
I recently posted a request on Facebook to my “Friends” and on the GrandSlamNovelist page in an ad.
The request is for people to vote for me in the upcoming event of the Best Authors of 2026 on the International Impact Award. I hope if you read this, you’ll support me in my quest to further gain exposure for my books. Here is the website that will allow you to vote; please click on it:

THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DO THIS FOR ME!
The last two months since arriving in Florida I have not worked on my two latest books, Keuka Lake Mystery or my autobiography, Journey to My Last Penny. I’ve had to work on the editing of the final book in the Bailie Beach trilogy, Sometimes Alone. This book will be out by May or June of this year, completing the trilogy.
Hint: The conclusion of the Bailie Beach Saga takes place twelve years later after the ending of the second book, Love on the Rebound. I hope you have enjoyed reading this trilogy, which just about covers the majority of emotions one can experience in life.
The next several weeks we’ll be on a cruise ship, where I will commit most of my time to working on completing both books that I’m presently writing. Happy springtime that lies ahead to all! Check back here in March for an update on my literary journey. Love and peace to you for each and every day!
