Tommy Celatka, a fictional character created from the experiences of the author in the summer of 1962. The reason behind creating Tommy was to have the series of events be about the story itself. The actual series of events took place on eastern Long Island and started in a small town called Mattituck. The initial series of events that launch this story is a four-day window where Tommy meets three very different girls. The three differ in personality, having a significant effect on the outcome of the story. This initial and unusual set of circumstances occurs the first weekend Tommy returns home for the summer from college.

This trilogy has the ingredients that make it a challenging love story with many twists in it. Yes, betrayal, obsession, and revenge are depicted in this trilogy. There is a villain that takes shape as the story develops. Murder is a result of the obsession one character displays in this challenging love story. Let’s meet the character Joan Blaire, a seventeen-year-old girl from the Bronx, one of the five boroughs of New York City. She is a strong devoted character who becomes involved in the love triangle instigated by the main character. Her personality is virtuous and she seeks to survive the predicament she becomes involved in. She is out from the city for the summer with her parents and by pure fate she is the first to meet Tommy.

Joan Blaire, an independent thinker, having alluring eyes, self-confident and loyal, very pretty with a slender figure.

The next character to emerge in the story is Debbie Rutkowski, the youngest character at the age of sixteen, who attempts to entice Tommy into dating her. From a previous meet with the main character the year before she has developed a crush on him. She resides in a small town next to Mattituck and attends a different high school than the main character did. Her opportunity to get involved with Tommy is prearranged through Tommy’s cousin’s wedding that takes place in the four-day window. She is young and committed more to her feelings without considering the consequences that can result from her actions.

Debbie Rutkowski, young and high spirited, has fantasies about love, pretty girl with auburn hair.

The third character to appear in the story is Anna Guiliano a nineteen-year-old that was Tommy’s last girlfriend in college. She is mentioned in the beginning of this story involving a violent breakup. You quickly come to know that she will become the villain that evolves over time. Her appearance occurs in that four-day window creating conflict. She is a strong-willed personality and selfish with her own needs. Let’s meet the villain.

The fourth character, Mary Spinelli is the second girl in the love triangle that Tommy gets seriously involved with on his summer job. She is the oldest of the five characters, at the age of twenty. She is hesitant, at first meeting the main character but quickly becomes romantically involved through Tommy’s actions of consistently pursuing her. She will impact this love story in many ways. The fifth character of course is the main character, Tommy. A young man of nineteen looking to find true love. Did not perceive the consequences that would result from his own actions or accepting the actions of others that would impact his life forever. His emotional journey that has its up and downs on the path to achieving a lasting and loving relationship. He sums up his dilemma in this final video, giving his heartfelt sharing where he is at in this love story.
