I started with the first event at Barnes & Noble, in Lake Grove, Long Island, on August 16, 2025. It was a table signing event, which allowed me to greet people entering the store and telling those who were interested in hearing about my book. It turned out to be very successful, with thirty-five book signings completed. Here are a couple of the people (Emily & Sharon) I had the opportunity to chat with that day. Table signing events are basically one on one interaction.

The next event was held at Bailie Beach in the Scout Lodge on Sunday, August 17, 2025. The attendance was slightly smaller but no less rewarding. The following pictures are from that event. Here I would take about fifteen minutes to tell the group about my journey in becoming an author. How the story was inspired by a true story and developed by utilizing fiction to advance it into a trilogy. In the picture with me is my cousin Martha and the group of people who were in attendance that afternoon at Bailie Beach.

The third event was held on August 19, at the Mattituck Library. The following picture is me with my cousin Joni, who bought my book and I signed it. The second picture in the background is Ann Marie and Leslie, my two high school classmates. The third picture is the couple (Vinny & Barbara) that bought the house I lived in growing up. I was fortunate to be able to visit the house while I was there on the book tour. They did a fabulous job remodeling the inside of the old farm house. The turnout for the Meet the Author event was excellent, with 25 people in attendance. I met several people who I didn’t know, which made it even more rewarding.

The fourth event was near New York City at a Barnes & Noble, located in Carle’s Place on August 20, 2025. This was also a table signing event, meeting several interesting people. Here are a few snapshots from that event with Maria, Louise and Bob who all obtained my book with an autograph. It was a rainy day but nonetheless still very rewarding.

The final event was held at the Riverhead Library on August 21, 2025. Here are a couple of pictures from that event. The question-and-answer part of the book signing was very engaging with the people in attendance.

Being my first experience of doing a book signing event was overall very rewarding. I enjoyed engaging in conversation with all those that I met. I want to thank George, Barbara, and Leslie for their support by providing a place to stay and transportation to the events. George and Leslie are my high school classmates from high school. My next trip is on a cruise to Alaska with my grandson Tyler. Look forward to spending time with my twenty-eight-year-old grandson. I will as always continue to promote my books while traveling, utilizing my special design bookmark that looks like my book Bailie Beach, front and back cover. Upon my return from the cruise, I will post in the Author comments again.
